Release date: June 2006 Looking for Diversity in the CAC 40 Reporting
In France, the issue of diversity in the workplace is recent. But it has quickly gained considerable ground in HR communications. This report analyses the reporting of CAC40 companies (in 2005) to determine to what extent corporate diversity policies exceed window dressing, to propose specific indicators and meaningful targets. Both best practices and the less effective practices are identified. Companies are ranked using a method based on four key criteria: gender equality, older employees, disability and minorities. To ensure that a useful, comprehensive and synthetic tool is available to HR managers and/or sustainable development departments, a review of domestic and global benchmarks is offered, as well as an analysis of the position of extra-financial rating agencies.
